I am a self taught artist from Greater Manchester working primarily with acrylics and charcoals. My work examines themes of loneliness and isolation, but there is optimism there with bright hopeful tones and colour. 

I express my themes using apples, circles and orbs. 

I painted my first apple in 2021. It began as a circle, and evolved from there. I will definitely always paint apples. I don’t use any apples as a reference when I paint them, I create unique ones and I try to present them in a different way to conventional still life. I want to subvert still life.
